 I Say a Little Prayer Necklace

Here is another necklace that is part of my Tibetan Collection! A little Tibetan silver prayer wheel is the highlight of this piece. Tubular carnelian beads are separated by little silver-tone and copper beads.

This is a miniature version of the small hand-held wheels that Tibetan people carry around for hours, and even on long pilgrimages, spinning them any time they have a hand free. The wheel is spun clockwise, as the direction the mantras are written is that of the movement of the sun across the sky. I purchased this tiny wheel in the market in the Tibetan quarter of Lhasa.

Carnelian is thought to be an energy booster as well as a protector from bad energy and poverty. It can help give the wearer a sense of humor and calm a bad temper!

Measurements: Length 18 inches (46 cm) with a 3" (7 cm) extension chain. The prayer wheel is about 25mm long.

Pearls and Porcelain Necklace

Creamy white freshwater pearls and blue & white porcelain beads create a stunning look that can take you from day to night.
This necklace measures about 18 inches (47 cm) and has a 3 inch (7 cm) extension chain.

These Chinese porcelain beads are reminiscent of the antique dynasty porcelains which are famous throughout the world. The beads have been hand painted with Chinese characters representing longevity, happiness, wealth, love, and good fortune.

The blue & white porcelain became well developed in the Yuan Dynasty (1271 to 1368), but flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. First natural cobalt was painted on the basic body. Then it would turn blue after being fired at high temperatures. The white glaze covered by a clear glaze highlighted the blue designs. The vases, plates, decorative items and beads are different and unique.  

Rhinestone Heart

This sparkling heart will dazzle your admirers! The silver toned heart has itsy-bitsy rhinestones that glitter and shine around the outline shape! A silver-tone chain is also included. The heart measures 1 inch (2.5 cm) X 3/4 inch (2 cm). The chain is 18 1/2 inches ( 47 cm) long with a 3 inch extension chain (7 cm) with a lobster claw clasp.
