7 - Miniature SITTING BENCH - Painted - SPRING Colors

This is a LOT OF 7 Painted Miniature Park Bench. These Park Benches are EXCLUSIVE to Kountry as I make them myself and cannot be acquired elsewhere. I hand cut end pieces and then cut and attach slats to form bench. Bench meas. approx. 2 3/4" w X 2" h X 1 3/4" deep.

Lot of 7 Benches are hand painted and include (2) White, (2) Light Blue, (1) each of Yellow, Pink, and Lavender.

Miniature benches are great for dollhouses or for adorning with miniature eggs, bunnies, mini basket, etc. for Easter/Spring decor.

Tibbs the Gray and White Kitty needle felted cat

This sweet little kitty is made entirely out of gray and white wool with a wee bit of pink wool for his nose and black for his eyes. Tibbs has white front feet and a white chest. He measures about 1 3/4 inches tall to the tip of his ears and has cute white whiskers and a blue ribbon around his neck. Tibbs would love to come home with you in hopes of bringing many smiles and joy.

Miniature Leather Book of Maps

For the discerning bibliophile, Tiny Castle presents its book of "Maps of the Old World" for your dollhouse library. Inside you find a table of contents (in Latin, of course) and 5 color illustrations. The size is 7/8 of an inch by 1 inch. We bound the book with waxed linen cord. It's all ready to take you on your next adventure in the new (or old) world!
This book comes with a scaled parchment rolled map (suitable for framing) when you buy the book.


Tiny Castle books are perfectly scaled for your dollhouse library. They come in all sizes because libraries never contain all the same size books! Each book is unique, but each looks as if it could have come right out of a medieval castle library. This book may be opened to be enjoyed, however all of our books are designed to be used in display and not as toys. The pages in Maps of the Old World are not sewn, but we used a study folding method instead.

The books are made of re-purposed leather, acid free aged parchment paper and acid free card stock.

Here is a tray of 16 decorated Easter Cookies, perfect for a bakery or Easter celebration. Each cookie is made of polymer clay and hand-painted. The cookies are glued to the tray. Cookies may vary from those pictured. The tray measures 1-3/4" long including the handles and is made in 1:12 scale.

Katcha began selling her upcycled inner-tube bags in Spain from the late nineties. Living in an out-of-service fire engine as she travelled across Europe, she was regularly found selling them out of the back to passers by!



“They were in demand,” she says, “because they were an intelligent alternative to animal skins, and boring high-street copies and people realised this. The bags and bike tyre belts are robust and versatile – perfect for living on the road, and for an urban lifestyle too.
I think because they are design-led and hand-crafted, people were attracted to them – my methods cut out industrial machinery and any chance of unethical practices. Plus, each piece is completely unique – you might cut the same design from an inner-tube, but the final result will always be slightly different."
Her designs have an intrinsic element of relaying environmental issues. “Promoting awareness of the environment and of the raw resources and materials we consume daily  are essential components in all of my creations.”
Katcha continually expresses her love of design, beauty and originality through transforming discarded materials and objects she finds on a scavenge, fashioning them into useful, well-designed pieces.

Italian Inspired Upcycle

Upcycled Fashion In Italy

 A little update about the use of recycled materials in fashion in Italy.

Maybe not everyone knows that Salvatore Ferragamo, aka “the shoemaker of dreams”, was one of the first designers to use recycled materials for his creations...he noted that candy wrappers were a strong material and braided them to create the upper part of his shoes in the 1940s. Due to the big economic crisis during the second world war, expensive materials were not available or affordable.

And what about today? Italians always prefer quite classic styles and it is hard to market unusual looking products here, in my opinion, if not connected with luxury and properly marketed with expensive campaigns. Here are some examples of high market brands that are surprisingly producing recycled materials collections:
Moma Boma creates bags using vintage newspaper, magazines , measure tapes, and (my favourite) pages from kids school scrapbooks, with maths or other subjects assignments and exercises on.

Momaboma arose from Maurizio Longati's passion who, in 2003, build up to little firm from the idea of creating accessories and objects obtained by recovering waste materials… smelling to bit like nostalgic. Nowadays Momaboma has become to successful firm with 300 dealers in Italy and 100 abroad. Its brand mark is now famous in fashion and design trade.
Recently to new service has been MYMOMABOMA, the virtual platform which permit everyone to realize one's own handbag personalized by regaining the farthest memories.
